We met Mickey Mouse!!!

To Infinity and Beyond!

The highlight of our Disney trip - by far - for Will was getting to meet Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear. It was about the only thing we had to wait in line for, and I do believe my boy would have waited in line all day!

This is how we roll - at Disney!

We went to Disney - not so much in December, although the Christmas decorations were already up - but the week before Thanksgiving. It was so much fun that I couldn't pass up sharing the fun pics - even if they are way late! This is how we rolled:

Driving on the Speedway with Pops

Driving on the Speedway with daddy

Cruising with Dumbo

Spinning on the Tea Cups

Waiting for Mickey to come by in the parade

Merry Christmas!

Christmas carols are still being sung by a certain 4 year old in our household so I thought it was still appropriate to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We have so much to be thankful for this year.

Grace Graffiti

I've started a new venture - Grace Graffiti - with two of my best buds - Suz and Whit. It's new, it's sudden, it's exciting. It's a little bit of this and a little bit of that. We're crafting some goods and hoping (praying?!) others will like them, too.

And because Suz can say it all way better than I can - here's the background.

Why the name Grace Graffiti? Glad you asked. Let me give you the lowdown.

Check us out at www.gracegraffiti.com. We've got a few more things up our sleeves that we'll be posting soon. Make sure to "like" us on Facebook so you can keep up with us.

So fun!!!

Happy Fall Y'all!

We had a family photo shoot last week in Albany with Kim (k&rphotography.com) so we could incorporate some very cool trains (so fitting for my boys!) - and we got a quick preview of this cute shot. Can't wait to get them all in my possession!

Pajama Party!

Toy Story 3 came out this month on DVD - and, of course, my household was pumped! To celebrate Will had a pajama party with his two buddies, Eli and Sam, to watch the movie. Nate decided he would rather play and baby E decided she would rather sleep!

The Shark & The Spider

Had a blast tonight at our annual Halloween bash! We just keep expanding - and I love it! We are thankful that The Shark & The Spider (and mommy & daddy) have some really good friends. Love living life with our peeps!

Go Dawgs!

We've been all about some Georgia Bulldogs in our house this weekend! We had "The Legends" stay with us en route to Jacksonville. The boys love them some Uncle Buck - and it's always fun to have our Georgia/Florida family here - Buck, Carter and Chase. The only thing that would have made it better is if Jana and Jake could have come, too. Next year we expect the whole gang!

Picture Day

We had the party over the weekend but I wanted to do something extra special for my boy's actual birthday. So we had a picture day on Monday. With his own digital camera strapped around his neck (Fisher Price - it's no Canon but it will do!) and a list of pictures he had to take, we set out for a fun-filled day. We played baseball with a friend, ate lunch with daddy at the airport, had supper with more friends, and lots of stuff in between. I think he had a pretty special birthday!

This next picture wasn't actually taken that day but - 1) I can't believe I didn't get a picture of the boys at supper and 2) This is such a cute picture I just needed to share it!

Lightening McQueen

The boy wanted Lightening McQueen - so the boy got Lightening McQueen!

Pops had the task of giving the driving lessons.

Mimi made an awesome Lightening McQueen cake!

Will asked for people to bring canned goods to the party for his "neighbors."

Memaw and Pepaw delivered Daddy to the party just in time for the festivities!

Really, really, really can't believe my boy is four! From day one he has made us smile, laugh, scratch our heads and wonder what we are doing, and yet made our hearts overflow with joy. We thank God for the gift of a (not so) little boy!

Think he could get a ticket for this?

I guess I should just be thankful he's not texting and driving : ) What a mess!

The Birthday Boy

My "baby" is two. Where has the time gone? Nate has brought so much joy to our family of four. He's our care-free, happy go-lucky, smiling all the time, sweet as can be boy. We had a little family gathering to celebrate the big 2. Nate wanted a choo-choo cake and a "melmo" party (aka Elmo).

We caught him cleaning before the party - only Nate!

He was practicing saying "two" all afternoon but couldn't quite get the fingers right.

Elmo shirt - check. Now let's party!

The brothers.

Nate's Mimi made his choo-choo cake - a tradition.

One happy family.

Ending the day with a new Elmo book. Life is good!

What the birthday boy ordered...

Nate is the big 2 today! The boys and I took a trip down to the Jax Zoo. We've never been (crazy, huh?) so this was a new adventure. It was really hot but thankfully not crowded. We didn't even make it through the whole park but we got to see the most important thing on the list - the "raffies." Nate went crazy! Will post more birthday pictures later. How is my baby already two??!!

Baby Jake

We got to hang out with Baby Jake Bearden (and Aunt Jana and Uncle Buck) last Sunday in Hilton Head. It's going to be T-R-O-U-B-L-E by about this time next summer when Jake is motoring around with the big boys (a.k.a. Will and Nate - although Buck and Brian qualify as well!).
